How often should one undergo a general eye examination?

Regular eye exams, even in the absence of obvious vision problems, are essential for maintaining optimal eye health and maintaining clear vision for a long time. A comprehensive annual eye examination enables early detection of various conditions such as diabetes, brain tumors, AIDS, Alzheimer's disease, hypertension, cardiovascular problems, metabolic disorders and Parkinson's disease.

It is recommended to prioritize scheduling a general eye examination once a year to protect the well-being of your eyes and ensure early intervention if any abnormalities are detected.
